Partnership Spotlight:
CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY

SWARTZ CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

“VentureBridge was incredibly helpful in introducing me to the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem. I got mentorship from amazing leaders, a network of founders from my program cohort, and the opportunity to pitch incredible investors that I otherwise would not have had access to.”

CARNEGIE MELLON ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM AWARDED GRANT

In the spring of 2019, the Robert and Kathleen Dobkin Intuitive Foundation awarded a grant to provide strategic support for the VentureBridge accelerator program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship.

This 10-week intensive summer program is hosted in Silicon Valley and involves eight companies led by CMU business students, alumni, or faculty.

These top early-stage start-up companies are selected through a competitive month-long application process. Each company receives a minimum $25,000 seed investment from Carnegie Mellon, made possible by the Robert and Kathleen Dobkin Intuitive Foundation.

The VentureBridge program engages, equips, and inspires CMU MBA students and entrepreneurs to accelerate their start-up growth by providing special access to the networks, resources, and innovations of the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship and the Carnegie Mellon University community in the Silicon Valley Bay Area. It is the only university accelerator program in the US connecting founders off-campus in a remote location.
